PUBLIC NOTICE OVERHEAD UTILITY UPGRADES NEAR HAWKS NEST HYDRO SURGE TANK ACCESS ROAD WILL RESULT IN DELAYS ON U.S. ROUTE 60 NEAR GAULEY BRIDGE, WV Brookfield Renewable N.A., owner and operator of the Hawks Nest Hydro, LLC, is providing public notification to warn drivers in the region to expect possible delays on U.S. Route 60 near Gauley Bridge in the coming weeks as the overhead utilities near the Hawks Nest Hydro surge tank road receive upgrades. U.S. Route 60 The upgrade project is scheduled to begin on July 21, 2025, and is expected to continue through August 15, 2025. You may experience periodic road delays while heavy equipment and materials are transported to the project area. Every effort will be taken for minimal impact to morning commutes, bus routes, etc. The upgrade project is necessary to improve the overhead power lines.
