Participate in the RFP contract process, interpreting purchasing rules and regulations, and providing legal guidance to management. Respond to FOIA requests. Research regulatory matters in the direction of the Associate General Counsel and the Lottery Director. Reviews and approvals of a variety of contracts relating to marketing, security, licensing, finance and administration, etc. Consults with agency staff on the interpretation of court opinions, the interpretation and application of statutes, rules and regulations, commission and director policy, minimum internal controls, casinos internal controls and house rules.
